The Rotonda Condominiums
A Gated Community in the Heart of Tysons, Virginia

The Rotonda is a unique condominium community, with a beautiful 34-acre site and easy access to the Tysons, Dulles Corridor, and D.C. business, retail, and employment centers. Five high-rise buildings designed in graceful curves form the primary residential portion of the property; drive circles, landscaping, and fountains create a gracious entryway for residents and their guests.

A multi-million dollar renovation of the Rotonda’s Community Center, the heart of the property, was completed in September 2016. The highlight of this make-over is a 2,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Fitness Center with a wide range of both cardio and strength equipment. Included is a Yoga Studio. An Indoor Swimming Pool with Spa provides areas for relaxing and swimming, even in the winter. Men’s and Women’s Spas provide luxury bathroom facilities, as well as saunas and private showers/changing areas. Other renovated spaces include a Traditional Game Room featuring foosball, ping-pong, air hockey and pool tables; a Digital Game Room with Xbox and PlayStation systems; a Business Center with conference equipment for meetings; and a General Store providing convenient availability of necessities.

Refurbishment of the Mezzanine Level of the Community Center was completed in May 2017. Now enjoyed is a Lobby, where residents and guests will be greeted by staff at the Front Desk and can meet with those from the Association Office; a Lounge area with comfortable seating and a piano, a Library and Social Hub featuring multiple seating areas and tables for gathering with friends of playing games, a multi-purpose room   where weekly Chair Yoga and kids activities take place. All five buildings are currently undergoing carpet and lobby tile replacement, expected to complete in 2023. 

 

On-site outdoor amenities include an Outdoor Swimming Pool (open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day), six lit Tennis Courts, a Basketball Court, Golf Putting Green, Children’s Play Areas, mini Soccer Field, Sand Volleyball Court, and more. Behind the residential buildings is an area of woodlands and greenery with a gazebo overlooking two ponds, as well as a fitness trail and walking paths. There are several pet-friendly areas, including an off-leash Dog Park, modeled after Fairfax County’s off-leash dog parks. In 2018 the Rotonda installed community Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for the growing number of residents choosing electric. 

Just minutes away are the world-class Tysons I and Tysons II malls, as well as many upscale stores and restaurants. Tysons is an established business center slated to become a major east coast hub within the next 20 years. The Metro arrived in Tysons in 2014, now connecting the area with Maryland and D.C., and eventually with Dulles International Airport. The Rotonda sits between two metro stations on the Silver Line.  

Responsible management has resulted in replacement of major systems such as roofs, elevators, and the fire alarm system so that residents enjoy spacious floor plans and solid construction with modern and efficient updates. Enthusiasm is high as management, owners, and residents embark on additional enhancements at the Rotonda and enjoy a metro stop just two blocks away.
